After a professional dance career, Andrew Greenwood has further developed himself into an international art and movement specialist for various large companies. In addition to developing training methods for professional dancers, he also focused on the health and well-being of dancers.
When a good friend was diagnosed with Parkinson’s at the age of 37, Andrew decided to focus more on shaping a methodology based on various movement techniques that give people with this diagnosis an improved quality of life.
From 2011 he was associated with Dance for Health, where he further developed his method alongside a team of artists and doctors. In 2016 he founded the organization SWITCH2MOVE (S2M) to continue his work, also at an international level.
Frank Antonissen has been working in the performing arts as a manual and physiotherapist since 2008. He worked for Holiday On Ice, among others. He also specialized in the treatment and counseling of people with chronic conditions such as Parkinson’s, dementia, rheumatism and chronic fatigue syndrome. In 2015 he obtained a master’s degree in the biopsychosocial domain and opened a paramedical center.
Since 2014 he has been a lecturer at the Fontys Circus Training ACAPA and from 2018 he has also been a lecturer at the paramedical training of Fontys Hogescholen and has been working with Andrew Greenwood within S2M since that same year.
In addition to his professorship, Frank is involved in various studies, including research into the effectiveness of music and sound on the quality of life in the elderly and people with dementia.

Sebastiaan Janus has been an ICT professional for more than 20 years and has worked in that role for several small and larger organizations. He started his own web hosting 5 years ago, and over the years this has been expanded with consultancy, marketing and advice. He got to know Andrew Greenwood in the phase when Switch2move was ready for the next step and helped him determine a strategy to reach as many people as possible worldwide with all the good that Switch2move has to offer.
‘My mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s at a relatively young age, and has worked with dementia her entire working life. The three years following the diagnosis consisted of intensive care and trying to make her life bearable as much as possible. After three years, however, her illness had progressed to the point where euthanasia was the only way to a dignified end. I wish I had known about Switch2move back then, because I’m sure her illness would have taken a completely different path.’
